big news for our little town and our traffic unfortunately today

For the next few days or even weeks, our I10 interstate bridge going eastbound is out due to a fire early this morning. The detour will route traffic to US90 to Chattahoochee exit to continue east. My commute to work just went from 48 minutes to an hour and 10 minutes on a good day😑

finally some rain to report

We are finally getting some good rain in our area and I've started putting our veggie garden in. Should be complete by the end of May.

Our azaleas are in full bloom now that winter is just about over. I type this on a Monday as a cold front will bring a winter weather change for a few days. Hope everyone is well.
